The Institutionalization-Localization Workshop with the Philippine National Police was held on March 11-12, 2018 at the Alpa City Suites, Cebu City.
The workshop was done to expand our project partnership with the PNP to include the DHRDD (Directorate for Human Resources and Doctrine Development) and brainstorm ways to institutionalize the CBD (Community-Based Diaolgues) approach. The activity began with a project overview, a review of the work plan for 2018, then a workshop on how to institutionalize and sustain the Community-Based Dialogue (CBD) mechanism.
The Closing Remarks were delivered by DHRDD Police Director Cedrick G. Train.
This is an activity under the “Community-based Dialogue Sessions on Human Rights Promotion and Protection” project, which is jointly implemented by the ALG, the Commission on Human Rights (CHR), the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), the Philippine National Police (PNP), and the Philippine Alliance of Human Rights Advocates (PAHRA), with support from the Hanns Seidel Foundation of Germany.
