The Alternative Law Groups held a Conference of Legal Resource NGOs on November 27-28, 2017 at the Verjandel Hotel.
The first session was on coalition updates, including an update on the Secretariat’s programs, short-term engagements, and other organizational activities.
The second session was a discussion on priority justice issues and advocacy areas.
The third session was a workshop on Transitional Justice.
The last session was a discussion on the identified priority justice issues and advocacy areas. Cong. Kaka Bag-ao (Lone District, Dinagat Island) shared her insights on pending bills in Congress where the coalition has advocacies on.
After the last session, the presence of the participants were maximized by calling for meetings of the different ALG clusters (gender, women and children’s cluster, environment, IP and mining cluster, labor cluster).
