The OMCT Project addresses the need to enhance the capacities of civil society to prepare for the use of prosecutorial and other mechanisms for exacting accountability from state agents and the government for the numerous killings and other human rights violations that are caused directly or indirectly by the so-called “War on Drugs”, the current repressive regime, and the heightened threat to the security of human rights defenders (HRDs).
The general objective of the project is to contribute to restoring the value of human rights of the people, to claim for and defend these rights against state abuses and to demand for accountability.
