A Research Scoping Major and Outstanding Issues on Transitional Justice in the Philippines

The Philippines is said to have transitioned from dictatorship to democracy, but much of the conflicts arising from the despotic regime
remain until today. This scoping research aims to map-out those major issues and scan various initiatives done so far using the framework of
transitional justice. It seeks to provide baseline information useful for advocates of the rule of law and justice in pushing for the adoption of the Transitional Justice Framework in their engagement with the government, communities, and victims of human rights violations.
